Meet Mary-Ellen

Business Manager/Broker
Since 2011, Mary-Ellen has worked with the Sheri Hagerty Group guiding clients through the home buying and selling process. She is a licensed North Carolina real estate broker, a notary public, and a client care specialist. She relocated from Washington D.C. to Raleigh in 1996 and has witnessed the Triangle’s growth and development firsthand. Her experience working as a litigation paralegal and as a real estate paralegal gives her a unique set of skills to bring to the transactional side of real estate.

Mary-Ellen grew up in the Boston area where she enjoyed summers on Cape Cod. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College, a paralegal degree from Wesley College, and an MBA in Finance & Investments from George Washington University. Mary-Ellen worked for many years as a business analyst specializing in mergers and acquisitions and executive compensation issues.

When Mary-Ellen is not working on behalf of clients, she enjoys time with her husband and three children and traveling with her youngest daughter to her Allstar Cheer competitions.
