For an upscale dining experience, try Herons, located within the Umstead Hotel & Spa. Herons offers locally-sourced American fare in a sophisticated setting. For additional dining and shopping, try Fenton, a new upscale shopping center in Cary. Choose from stores such as Arhaus, Lululemon and Bailey's Fine Jewelry. Then head to Superica or M Sushi for a superb meal, or stay outdoors to enjoy the live entertainment at Fenton.

The Koka Booth Amphitheatre and the Cary Arts Center provides top-rated musical and theater performances. The Cary Arts Center also offer programs for people of all ages in woodworking, art, clay, glass, and metals.
 
When Cary residents want to get outdoors, they head to the Fred G. Bond Metro Park. Set alongside Bond Lake, the park is 310 acres of beautiful green spaces and stunning foliage. Along with relaxing views of the lake, the park offers picnic areas, boating, kayaking, trails for hiking, and more.
 
The city of Cary is also involved in several events throughout the year. These includes the annual Farmers Fall Festival at the Cary Downtown Farmers Market, the Barktoberfest held in nearby Raleigh, and the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival held near Academy Street in downtown Cary.
